Multiple COVID-19 cases at Catholic Women’s League dinner in Tilbury

CK Public Health has been notified that there were multiple confirmed cases of COVID-19 in attendance at the Catholic Women’s League dinner on Sept. 27th at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Tilbury.

All attendees at this event have been fully vaccinated and therefore contacts are not required to have to isolate.

Chatham-Kent’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. David Colby advises that anyone that was in attendance at the event to self monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and to get tested immediately if symptoms develop.

It is recommended that all attendees book a testing appointment for October 4th, 2021.

If you have been called from the health unit as a close contact please follow the testing guidance that was provided to you.

Testing appointments can be booked at Chatham’s Assessment Centre, located at 10 Grand Avenue West, using one of the following options:

– Visit the Assessment Centre in person to book an appointment with one of the booking clerks

– Call 519.436.2556 to speak to someone directly to book an appointment

– Visit www.assessmentbooking.ca to book an appointment on-line
