Wallaceburg band Town Krier headlining WAMBO stage on Saturday

WAMBO has announced some additional musical entertainment for their upcoming Thanksgiving Weekend festivities.

“WAMBO is thrilled to announce that Wallaceburg’s own Town Krier will be performing LIVE as part of the Thanksgiving Weekend festivities on Saturday, October 9, 2021,” the group posted on social media.

“The veteran three-piece rock band will take over the WAMBO stage from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.”

WAMBO officials say special guests Generation Vinyl will also play a set from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Both bands will be playing in the downtown core of Wallaceburg in Municipal Parking Lot ‘D’, WAMBO officials say.

“Watch for more details about WAMBO on our Facebook page leading up to the weekend,” the group stated.

Earlier this week, WAMBO released details about the annual Car Show for 2021, which will be held in downtown Wallaceburg on Saturday, October 9, 2021.

“Very happy to see WAMBO moving forward,” said Matt Thomas, the WAMBO Car Manager, on social media.

“I hope this is a sign of things starting to come back to normal for all of us. I’m already looking forward to WAMBO 2022.”

Registration for the show begins at 7 a.m. on Saturday and the cut-off time to register is 11 a.m. on Saturday as well.

The award ceremony will take place at 4 p.m., WAMBO officials say.

There will also be Fire Truck and Motorcycle Displays included in the show.

Leave Those Kids Alone will be performing LIVE in downtown Wallaceburg to help kick-off WAMBO’s 2021 event.

The teenage classic rock band from Windsor will be performing starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 8, 2021 in the downtown parking lot in Wallaceburg.

The band’s set will coincide with the Terry Glover Memorial Dream Cruise, which begins at 7 p.m. from the mall parking lot on McNaughton Avenue and will eventually be coming through the downtown core.
