Trinity Christian Centre closing in Dresden, building being donated to Rotary Club

Trinity Christian Centre, a Free Methodist congregation in Dresden Ontario, has made the decision to close following its service on Sunday, October 10.

This congregation has worshipped in Dresden for the past 32 years, a press release states.

The church building, located at 547 North Street in Dresden will be donated to the Rotary Club of Dresden Service Fund, to be used as a base of operations for the club.

In the same way that the building has been used by community groups in the past, it will continue to be used as a community hub.

Trinity Christian Centre has served the needs of its congregation and has made many contributions to the town of Dresden and to organizations, both locally and internationally.

It was decided that now is the right time to close the church.

A press release indicates through meetings with the Rotary Club of Dresden, the congregation of Trinity Christian Centre determined that placing the building in the hands of the Rotary Club of Dresden would assure that the citizens of Dresden and the surrounding community would continue to benefit.
