“JAMMIE DAY 2021” is just around the corner!

Dear Friends and Supporter,
On behalf of the team at the Hayden’s Hope Foundation, I’m thrilled to share that Jammie Day is back again this year – raising funds and awareness in support of pediatric oncology families in Southwestern Ontario!
ABOUT JAMMIE DAY
Now in its second year, Jammie Day is held on October 20th in memory of Hayden Foulon who hung up her superhero cape at the age of 7 after a courageous and inspiring six year long battle with leukemia.
Jammie Day began as a way to celebrate Hayden’s life while supporting a great cause. It combines jammies (something Hayden spent an inordinate amount of time in during her years of treatment) and school (her safe place away from the hospital where she could take part in normal kid activities and not be defined as a kid with cancer).
Thanks to our amazing community of supporters, Jammie Day has expanded to include schools, community organizations, and individuals across Southwestern Ontario who were inspired by Hayden’s fight (besides…who wouldn’t want to wear their PJs all day?!? 😊). Last year’s inaugural day raised over $10,000.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Getting involved is easy! Hayden’s Hope Foundation is again calling on schools and community organizations across Southwestern Ontario to wear their jammies on Wednesday, October 20th and make a minimum donation of just $2 per person.
To register, simply send an email to Lindsay@haydenshopefoundation.com and let us know the name of your school or workplace. A poster is attached to help you get the word out within your community. Afterwards, we’d love to see a picture of your group in their jammies and will be sharing updates on Instagram and Facebook using hashtags #jammieday2021 and #haydenshopefdn.
All proceeds from the event will help the Hayden’s Hope Foundation provide financial assistance & mental health supports for pediatric oncology families, and contribute to the never-ending need for pediatric cancer research.
If you have any questions or require additional supports, please let us know. Thank you for your continued support of this cause and for helping us keep Hayden’s memory alive – we can think of no better way to honour her and help raise awareness. Together, we WILL beat childhood cancer!
