Lord Selkirk Bridge set to be closed for repairs

The Lord Selkirk Bridge in Wallaceburg will be closed the following days to vehicular and pedestrian traffic to make repairs to the locking mechanism in the center of the bridge:

– Tuesday, October 19 and Wednesday, October 20 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

– Tuesday October 26 and Wednesday October 27 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Between October 19 and October 27, the bridge will remain in a fixed position and will not be operable for larger boats.

Smaller boats will still be able to pass under the structure, Municipal officials say.
