Door smashed, guitars stolen from The Gear Box in downtown Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Around 8 p.m. last night, officers responded to an alarm at ‘The Gear Box’ on James Street.

Upon police arrival, officers observed that the glass in the front door had been smashed and that four guitars had been stolen.

Through investigation, two of the stolen guitars were located in the common area of a nearby house where multiple residents live.

Police continue to look for the remaining two stolen guitars:

– Les Paul Modern, glass black

– Slash Les Paul, appetite burst
