With sadness we announce that Nina Jacobs-Kiyoshk, a member of Walpole Island First Nation ascended into the spirit world on December 29, 2021 at the age of 52.
Nina has been rejoined with her late mother Lucille Jacobs, son Trenton and brother Dion Jacobs.
She will be lovingly remembered by her father Delwood Blackbird, her children Dakota and Jade Jacobs, their father Warren Kiyoshk, her grandchildren Dakota Jr., Taniyla and Treyvon and her sisters Charmaine, Misty and Shauna Johnson.
Community visitation will be held at the Family Home (204 Tecumseh Rd., Walpole Island) on Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 1-5pm.
The Funeral Service will be held at Walpole Island Sports Complex on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 11 AM. HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg entrusted with arrangements.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing indoors are mandatory.
