Three arrested at vacant house in St. Clair Township

Lambton OPP officials allege: On December 25, 2021 at 9 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted regarding a break and enter to a vacant residence on Smith Line.

Officers arrived to the residence and located three individuals inside who were taken into custody without incident.

During the investigation officers located a vehicle which had recently been reported stolen to Lambton OPP.

A 26-year-old Wallaceburg man, a 29-year-old Wallaceburg man and a 31-year-old Walpole Island First Nation woman, have been charged with the following:

– Break, enter dwelling house,

– Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

– Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000

The 29-year-old has also been charged with:

– Failure to comply with release order.

The 31-year-old has been released and in scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice at a later date.

The two others have been held in custody following a bail hearing.
