Police issue public warning, after three overdose deaths connected to fentanyl

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: The Chatham-Kent Police have attended three overdose deaths in the past 48 hours.

It is suspected that the overdoses were caused by fentanyl use.

If you, or someone you know, uses drugs, it is vital to carry naloxone.

The Chatham-Kent Police, along with CK EMS, and Chatham-Kent Public Health would like community members to be aware of the risks associated with drug use.

Supports are available in the community to help deal with addictions.
