A special weather statement has been issued by Environment Canada, as freezing rain is possible tonight and Wednesday morning.
Forecasters say hazards include a risk of freezing rain.
“Untreated surface such as roads, parking lots and walkways may become slippery,” Environment Canada officials say.
“A mix of freezing rain and ice pellets will be possible tonight before changing to rain early Wednesday morning. At this time, there remains considerable uncertainty regarding the timing and amount of freezing rain.”
