Man arrested on warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On October 24, 2021, a 49-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with one count of operation of a motor vehicle while impaired and one count of operation of a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.
The accused later failed to attend his court date, resulting in a warrant for his arrest.
Yesterday morning the 49-year-old Chatham man was arrested and later released with a future court date of May 10, 2022.
Man arrested on warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: In August of 2020 a 40-year-old Chatham man was arrested for two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking.
The accused was released with a future court which he later failed to attend, subsequently a warrant was issued for his arrest.
In October 2021 the accused was located by police and arrested for the above noted offences and later released with a future court date.
The accused failed to attend his second court date, subsequently resulting in a warrant issued for his arrest.
On Tuesday April 26, 2022, the 40-year-old Chatham man was located by police, arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters where he was held in custody pending bail.
Female arrested for breach curfew condition
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night at approximately midnight police were dispatched to an address in Chatham regarding a separate incident; while attending police located the accused in the residence who was known to them.
A check was conducted which revealed the female was previously released a specific condition stating be at a specific residence between the hours of 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Not being able to provide a lawful excuse as to being in violation of her curfew condition, the accused was arrested for one count of failing to comply with an undertaking.
The 28-year-old female was transported to Chatham Kent Police Service headquarters and later released with a future court date.
