Mark Aarssen, a former Wallaceburg police officer, has published a memoir, which was launched at the end of last month.
Aarssen says ‘An Onion Under Glass’ was the product of two years of work.
“It’s meant to be a light hearted look at what it was like to be a police officer in my hometown,” Aarssen told the Sydenham Current.
A book launch was held on April 30, 2022 in Strathroy at Printmore Inc., who published the book.
Another launch, signing and reading is set to take place at the Wallaceburg and District Museum sometime in May.
“Theatre Kent (on June 3, 2022) will also be doing a one act play based on characters from my book along with nine other one act plays by local writers,” Aarssen added.
