Seth Nottley’s family reminds everyone that McHappy Day is this Wednesday

Every year, McDonald’s Canada franchisees and crew across the country host McHappy Day, an annual day of community giving to support Ronald McDonald House Charities and other local children’s charities across Canada.

This year’s fundraiser is taking on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.

Locally, the family of Seth Nottley, a Port Lambton student, is promoting McHappy Day in the community.

Seth’s grandma, Wallaceburg’s Sheila Harris, told the Sydenham Current that the Ronald McDonald House helped her grandson when he was in the hospital.

How to support RMHC on McHappy Day

1. Order your faves on May 11 at McDonald’s or through the McDonald’s app. Can’t make it to a restaurant? Order McDelivery via Uber Eats, SkipTheDishes or DoorDash and receive a $0 delivery fee on a McDonald’s order of $15 (plus tax) or more!

In an average year, RMHC supports more than 26,000 families from over 3,400 communities across Canada.

Through 33 programs (16 Houses and 17 Family Rooms), across the country, they provide families with a place to stay together and close to their sick child in hospital.

Since the first House opened in Toronto in 1981, RMHC Canada has helped over 436,000 families with sick children stay together.
