Police: Kayaks stolen in Wallaceburg, B&E in Blenheim

Theft in Wallaceburg

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 12:20 a.m. on May 22, 2022 a male was located on Murray Street in Wallaceburg.

The male was in possession of two kayaks.Ā 

Through investigation the property was found to be stolen, as well as the male party was on a court condition
to be within his residence between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

As a result, A Wallaceburg man was arrested for theft and possession and a bail violation.

He was transported to CKPS HQ, processed and held for bail.Ā 

Break and enter in Blenheim

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime before or around May 11, 2022 unknown parties entered the business of Store and Save in Blenheim, entered a secured storage unit, and removed approximately $3,000 worth of property.Ā 

Items taken include table saw and drill press.

The incident still remains under investigation by uniform patrol.
