Lambton OPP officials allege: Members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit have arrested an individual in connection with a homicide in a rural parking lot on Marthaville Road on April 14, 2022.
On April 29, 2022, OPP arrested Jason Nahmabin, 43-years-old of Sarnia, for First Degree Murder pursuant to section 235(1) of the Criminal Code.
The accused has been remanded in custody following a court appearance on April 30, 2022.
Investigators have determined Andrew Chute was shot in a targeted incident.
The investigation is continuing under the direction of the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB).
