Police: Rock thrown at fast-food restaurant window, mischief charge laid, warrants executed

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday at approximately 12 p.m. officers were dispatched to attend the area of 25 St. Clair Street in Chatham in response to a call of a mischief.

A 39-year-old Wallaceburg man was observed throwing a rock at a window of a local fast-food restaurant, causing approximately $1,000 damage.

The man was located, arrested for mischief under $5,000, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, and lodged for a bail hearing.

Warrant arrests

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, at approximately 9 a.m., police observed a 32-year-old Chatham woman.

A query of her revealed that she was wanted on a Chatham-Kent Police Service warrant.

She was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service, and later released
from custody with a future court date.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, at approximately 10:45 a.m., a 42-year-old man attended the Wallaceburg station of the Chatham-Kent Police Service.

A query of the man revealed that he was wanted on a Chatham-Kent Police Service warrant.

He was arrested on the strength of the warrant, transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, and later released from custody with a future court date.
