Stolen vehicle in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday morning at approximately 4:40 a.m. unknown suspects stole a 2015 White Hyundai Tucson from a driveway on Lorne Avenue in Chatham.

Disturbance leads to arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Just after 6:30 a.m. Friday morning, police responded to a disturbance between a man and a woman at a residence in Chatham.

Through investigation, police learned that the female was wanted for mischief under $5,000, assault and resist arrest.

The 39-year-old Chatham woman was arrested and released with a future court date of June 17th, 2022.

Traffic complaint leads to arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday around 11 a.m., police responded to a traffic complaint in Wallaceburg.

The vehicle was located on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg and stopped.

Through investigation, police learned a female occupant of the vehicle was wanted by the Sarnia Police Service.

The 37-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested for the outstanding warrant.

The Sarnia Police Service attended and took over custody of the female.
