With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Hugo Noorenberghe on June 29, 2022 at the age of 84.
Remembered dearly by his beloved wife of 63yrs, Aline Noorenberghe.
Loving father of Ron (Cathy) Noorenberghe and Gary (Barbara) Noorenberghe.
Cherished grandfather of Jenna (Jerry), Tim, Olivia, Alex (Lauren) and Adam. Dear brother of Roger (Anna) Noorenberghe, Joel (the late Antoinette) Noorenberghe, Leona (Ivan) de Iobelle, Marte (the late Georg) Wydoodt, Dan (Betty) (the late Maria) Noorenberghe, the late Michael (Aldegonde) Noorenberghe, the late Josephine and Alois deCock, the late Anna and Paul Meersseman and twins, the late Daniel and Frans Noorenberghe.
Hugo retired from Navistar after 30 years as a mechanic by trade, but truly his was a farmer by heart.
His Belgium heritage was very important to him, making many travels home over the years.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231) on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 6-9pm.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 11am.
Hugo will be laid to rest at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Thamesville.
If you desire, donations in Hugo’s memory to the Parkinson Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
