On July 5, 2022 George Leo Joseph Blackbird, a member of Walpole Island First Nation passed into the spirit world at the age of 69.
He will be missed by his Kitty ‘Titty’ who watched over him protectively.
Son of the late Betty Jane Blackbird.
Dear brother of the late Beverly White (Paul), the late Delwood Blackbird, the late Dwain Blackbird (Karen), Bernadette Blackbird, Dexter Blackbird, the late Sam Blackbird, Jan Blackbird (Nan) and Marna Williams (Paul).
George will be remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephews.
By his request there will be no services and cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg.
George will be laid to rest beside his beloved canine companion Rain.
