August will kick off with the annual CK Trail Challenge.
“Ride down to your Local library to pick up a free prize while supplies last,” Municipal officials said in a media release.
“While there remember to grab some trail booklets and our cycling maps. Every week there will be QR codes posted at trails all over Chatham-Kent, scan the code fill out a survey and enter for a chance to win a prize pack; 10 will be given out every week for the month of August.”
Each week will feature a different theme showing off the diversity of our trails.
“Week one will feature our forested trails, perfect for casual strolls with the family and to explore,” Municipal officials say.
“Week two will take you to scenic water views from Lake Erie to Lake St. Clair. Week three will have trails that weave through the suburbs and help you get around town without having to get In the car. Finally week 4 will feature trails that feature amenities for the whole family. From parks and play equipment to public swimming pools, going to these trails will be a great way to spend the afternoon.”
Prizes included in the pack are reusable water bottles, drawstring bags, baseball hats, and sunglasses.
“You can also pick a free prize at your local library, a bike bell to keep you safe while out on the trails,” Municipal officials added.
