The inaugural Mermaids & Mariners event is taking place at Brander Park in Port Lambton on Saturday, August 20, 2022.
Sherri DeWolf, the organizer, told the Sydenham Current it is an all ages, family friendly, nautical-themed event.
People are encouraged to dress up for the event as well, DeWolf added.
There will also be vendors, a beer garden, kids activities and displays.
