Lambton OPP officials allege: On August 23, 2022 at 10:10 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were contacted regarding a motor vehicle collision on Courtright Line near Inwood Road involving a passenger vehicle and transport truck.
Officers attended the scene along with Lambton Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and local fire departments. Six involved individuals were transported to hospital. The driver of the transport truck was pronounced deceased shortly after arrival to hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Cameron Wilcox, 67-years-old of St. Thomas.
Courtright Line was closed for the investigation, but reopened at 3:00 a.m.
The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided when they become available.
