Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 3:43 p.m. several 911 calls were received for an accident on Colbourne Street between Princess street North and Prince Street North in Chatham.
A vehicle was struck by a train at this location.
Police, fire and ambulance responded to the area.
The driver and passenger were transported to Public General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The area was cleared after several hours.
CP Police attended and are the lead agency for the investigation.
