The Rotary Club of Dresden is hosting a Ward 4 Candidate’s Forum on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at The Wheelhouse, 547 North Street, Dresden starting at 7 p.m.
Rotary President Rose Northcott notes that this will be one of the first public events at Dresden Rotary’s new home.
“We are looking forward to welcoming the community to The Wheelhouse for this important civic event,” Northcott said, in a media release.
The agenda includes the opportunity for each candidate to provide an opening and closing statement.
In addition, the candidates will be asked to respond to questions developed by the organizing committee based on input from the public.
Anyone who has an issue they would like to see addressed is asked to email their concerns to dresdenrotary@gmail.com.
The chair of the event, Rotarian Phil Richards, explains that all candidates have committed to attend, and there will be an opportunity following the formal part of the evening to meet and talk with the various candidates.
The Rotary Club of Dresden hopes that this Forum will be helpful to local residents as they consider who they want to represent them for the next Municipal Council term.
All Ward 4 residents are welcome to attend.
