Jane Anne Deighton

With heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of long time Wallaceburg resident Jane Anne Deighton on September 29, 2022 at the age of 79.

Loving wife of the late Charles Donald Deighton and dear mother of Delynne Marlatt (Tom), Susan (Martyn) Williams, Brian (Sonia Atwal) Deighton.

Cherished nana of Brandon, Daryn, Matthew, Rhys, Bryn, Kent, Roan, Nikhil and great grandson Dyton.

Jane Anne is the daughter of the late Stanley and Genevieve Gormley and sister of John (Wendy) Gormely, Joseph (Maria) Gormley and the late James Gormely (Shirley).

Beloved aunt to Kathleen, Adam, Kelly, Kevin, Scott, Jeff, Jill and the late Lisa and Christopher.

Jane Anne graduated from Nursing in 1963 and will be remembered by the many families she assisted during her 35 years of volunteering Bereavement Counselling with the VON.

A heartfelt thank you to all the staff and volunteers at Fairfield Park for the amazing care and compassion given to Jane Anne during her time there.

Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home (409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg, 519-627-3231) on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8pm.

Her Mass of the Resurrection will be Celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 11am, followed by burial at Riverview Cemetery.
