On September 29, 2022, Joanne Mitchell (nee Oliphant) left us peacefully to be reunited with her beloved husband Raymond ‘Ray’ (2018) and her two great grandchildren Shailyn and Britnee.
She will forever be remembered as a loving Mother to Brian (Sherry) Mitchell, Keith Mitchell, Sandra (Dave) Meyskens and Marietta (Hugh) Kirby.
Cherished grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 25.
Daughter of the late James and Eleanor Oliphant and dear sister of Harritt (Norm) Trepanier, Deloras Ash, Mark Oliphant and the late Hugh Oliphant (Sharron).
A heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff at CKHA – Wallaceburg for the exceptional care and support given to her and her family during her final days.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home (409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg, 519-627-3231) on Sunday, October 2, 2022 from 2-4pm.
Joanne’s Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 11am followed by burial at Riverview Cemetery.
