Julius Van Den Bossche

Peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2020 at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Julius Adolph Van Den Bossche of Corunna and formerly of Wallaceburg died at the age of 86 years.

Loving husband for 60 years of Anne (Kenny) Van Den Bossche. Loving father to Julianne Makin (Dave), and Mark (Mary Cole). Cherished Pops of Jake (Danielle), Lily, Mary and Kyle Van Den Bossche and Joshua and Hope Makin. Brother of Joseph D’handshutter (the late Frances) and brother-in-law of Sue Van Den Bossche. Remembered by the Kenny family (Sr Mary Ellen OSU, Marion, Steve and Françoise) and special friend and cousin Loretta Martin. He will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by loving parents Maria and Adolph Van Den Bossche and brother Jerry Van Den Bossche.

Julius was the past owner and long time funeral director with the Eric F. Nicholls funeral home, Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and former member and chairman of the Chatham Kent Roman Catholic Separate School Board.

Resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home LTD, 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, a private Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated for Julius at Our Lady Help of Christians, Wallaceburg. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 11 a.m. from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wallaceburg. Interment in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to The Make a Wish Foundation or charity of choice.
