Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night around 6:50 p.m. emergency personnel responded to a serious single ATV collision near Bothwell.
The driver, a 73-year-old Zone Township man was riding along an unmarked trail in a private bush lot, with a family member as his passenger, when he suddenly lost control, causing both occupants to be ejected from the vehicle.
The passenger, a 49-year-old Tilbury woman, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The driver sustained serious injuries and was transported via ambulance to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, where he was transferred to Windsor for further medical treatment.
