The Chatham-Kent Public Library and CK Public Health are teaming up to host some upcoming Naloxone information sessions.
“Education is the key,” library officials said, in a media release.
“Come in and learn about what Naloxone is, how to recognize a drug poisoning, how Naloxone can save someone’s life and where to pick up a free Naloxone kit in Chatham-Kent.”
CK Public Health will be holding Naloxone information sessions at the following Branches of Chatham-Kent Public Library:
Wallaceburg Branch
209 James Street
Thursday, October 27
6:30 pm
Chatham Branch
120 Queen Street
Thursday, November 10
6:30 pm
“All sessions are free to the public, no registration required,” library officials say.
“Free Naloxone kits will be distributed at each session.”
Similar sessions were held earlier this month in Dresden and Blenheim.
