Chatham-Kent firefighters battled a blaze near Grand Pointe on Friday, October 14, 2022.
“Crews from Stations #4 and #15 responded to 6591 Rivard Line for a pole shed, approximately 30×50 feet in size, on fire shortly after 3 a.m. today,” fire officials said on social media.
“The tenants were awakened by their dog and looked outside to see flames coming from the shed.”
Fire officials say there were no injuries and the cause of the fire is undetermined.
The estimated loss is pegged at $150,000, fire officials added.
