Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Just before 8 p.m. last night, emergency crews responded to a collision involving a car and freight train in the area of Base line and Industrial Road.
The driver, a 48-year-old Dresden man was transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance for medical attention.
His passenger, a 50-year-old Dresden man was transported to Four Counties Hospital in Newbury and air-lifted to London for further medical treatment.
The collision remains under investigation by members of CKPS Traffic Unit and Canadian Pacific Railway.
