Mrs. Leone Mildre Van Looy, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, in Chatham, at the age of 96.
Leone was born in Sombra Township and was a daughter of the late Leo and Anne (MacDonald) McCoy.
Beloved wife of the late Sidney Douglas (1970) and Joseph Van Looy (2008)
Loving mother of Sharron Van Looy and step-mother of Walter Van Looy and John (Jodee) Van Looy.
Dear Grandmother of Mike (Tanya), Michelle, Jason, Jamie and Jenny and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, family, friends and special chosen family members John McGillian, Doug and Theresa Belanger.
Predeceased by her sisters Florence, Alice and Edna Anne.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, visitation will be on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 5-8p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from Holy Family Church. Interment to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Lambton, Ontario.
