Police recover stolen vehicle
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning, police responded to an address on Grand Avenue East for a report of an abandoned vehicle.
Police located a grey 2001 Ford F-150 that had been stolen from a business on Byng Aveue in Chatham on October 24, 2022.
There was no one located inside the vehicle at the time.

Antique firearms stolen during break and enter
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, just after 2 p.m., police responded to a break and enter that had occurred at an address on Tenth Line.
Sometime since 12 p.m. the same day unknown suspects entered the residence and stole several items including a three chainsaws, a high powered crossbow and three antique shotguns.
The suspects also stole the victims 2022 Ford F-150.
Through investigation, the vehicle was located a short distance away unoccupied.
The stolen items were still outstanding and are valued at approximately $13,000.

Female arrested on DNA warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, just before 3 p.m., an officer on general patrol in the town of Wallaceburg observed a known female walking on James Street.
A query of the female revealed she had an outstanding warrant in which she needed to provide a DNA sample.
The 29-year-old female from Wallaceburg was arrested and the DNA was collected.
She was later released from custody.
Motorcycle stolen in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, at approximately 4 p.m., police responded to an address on Joseph Street in Chatham in regards to a motorcycle being stolen from a driveway.
Unknown suspects stole a red Honda Enduro motorcycle with license plate 3N6F9 at the time.

Break and enter in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening, police responded to the reports of a break and enter to a residence on Sandy Street in Chatham.
The residence was currently being renovated and sometime over the last week unknown suspects made entry.
The house was stripped of copper wire and numerous tools were stolen.
The suspects also cut the copper pipes to the hot water tank causing flooding.
Damage is estimated at approximately $40,000.

Stolen vehicle in Bothwell
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, just after 7: p.m., police received a report that a 2003 Jeep Sahara had been stolen from a driveway on Zone Centre Line.
The vehicle was later recovered in London with the ignition punched.
The investigation is still ongoing at this time.

Break and enter leads to arrest
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Monday morning, at 8 a.m. police responded to an address on Lanz Boulevard in Blenheim in regards to a break and enter that had occurred overnight.
An unknown suspect had forced their way into a garage and stolen a 2014 Cadillac.
Through investigation, police tracked the vehicle to a residence on Park Street in Chatham.
The vehicle was located by officers and a male was found inside of it.
The male was arrested for possession of stolen property over $5,000.
He was also found to be in possession of a quantity of methamphetamine and fentanyl.
He was further charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Man charged for assaulting a police officer
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, just before 3 p.m., a male in police custody went before a Justice of the Peace to answer to his charges.
When he found out he was being remanded into custody he became angry and threw a shoe at an officer.
He then proceeded to throw urine, hitting an officer in the face.
He was charged with assault and assault with a weapon.
Break and enter in Blenheim
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, at approximately 2:30 p.m., police attended a church on Chatham Street in Blenheim regarding a break and enter.
Sometime over the last week unknown suspects gained entry into a shed on the property and stole a rototiller and a gold cart.
