Uttering threats to cause death charges laid in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On October 3, 2024 police attended an address on Dover Street in Chatham.

As a result of this investigation a 17-year-old youth was wanted.

On November 4,2024 a 17-year-old Chatham youth turned himself to Chatham-Kent Headquarters.

The youth was charged with three counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and utter threats to damage property.

The youth was then released with a future court date.
