The 2022 Remembrance Day services are set in both Wallaceburg and Dresden.
Wallaceburg Legion Branch 18 officials say a program at Wallaceburg District Secondary School starts at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2022.
People are being asked to be in your seat before this time.
At the conclusion of the presentation, family and business wreaths will be placed.
Wallaceburg Legion officials say at 10:40 a.m. a parade will form and will march to the Cenotaph.
The formal Remembrance Day ceremony and wreath laying of government, military and Legion wreaths will take place.
At the conclusion of the service, everyone is invited back to Branch 18 for a time of comradeship, Wallaceburg Legion officials say.
Dresden Legion Branch 113 officials say their Remembrance Day service begins at 11 a.m. at the cenotaph.
A Remembrance Day banquet is also being held at 6:30 p.m. at the Dresden Legion.
Tickets are $15 each.

Remembrance Day hours in Chatham-Kent
Municipal offices and most services will be closed Friday, November 11 in recognition of the Remembrance Day holiday.
Other services are scheduled as follows:
Cemeteries: Cemetery staff will be on call for funeral homes that require at-need sales.
Ride CK: Services will not be running on Friday, November 11th.
Emergency Services: Police, Fire, and Ambulance are operational 24 hours a day, every day, and are accessible by dialing “911” for emergency calls only. The Fire Administration office will be closed on Friday, November 11th, and re-opening on Monday, November 14th at 8:30 am.
Arts and Culture: The Chatham-Kent Museum is open on November 11th. The Chatham Capitol Theatre, Kiwanis Theatre, Box Office, Chatham Cultural Centre, Thames Art Gallery, ARTspace, Milner Heritage House, and Ridge House Museum are closed on November 11th.
Entegrus and Public Utilities Commission: PUC will be closed. The emergency call number is 519-352-6300.
Health and Family Services Building: The Health and Family Services building will be closed on November 11th, including the offices of Employment and Social Services, Housing Services, Child Care, and Early Years and Public Health.
Emergency Rapid Rehousing Program: During the evening, on weekends, and holidays, please call the after-hours Homeless Response Line at 519-354-6628 for homeless emergencies within Chatham-Kent. This number is available 24/7.
EarlyON: All EarlyON programs are closed on Friday, November 11th.
Riverview Gardens: Reception and administrative offices will be closed on Friday, November 11th. Nursing staff can be reached 24/7 by calling 519-352-4823.
Libraries: Library services will not be available on Friday, November 11th.
Public Health King Street: Public Health King Street, located at 177 King St. E., Chatham will be closed Friday, November 11th. Essential after-hours Public Health services are available by calling 1-866-446-8207.
Provincial Offenses Court will be closed on Friday, November 11th. Regular business hours 8:30 am – 4:30 pm will resume on November 14th.
Pools: The Blenheim Gable Rees Rotary Pool and the Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool will be open for their regular schedules on Friday, November 11th.
Waste and Recycling: Garbage and recycling collection services for the week of November 11th will be delayed by one day. Please refer to the Recycling and Waste Collection Guide for further details.
Transfer Stations: The Harwich and Wallaceburg Transfer Stations will be closed Friday, November 11th. All other transfer stations will be open during regular hours.
Leaf & Yard Deports: All Leaf and Yard Depots will be closed Friday, November 11th.

Remembrance Day hours at the CKHA
Some health care services offered at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance’s Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will be altered on Friday, November 11, 2022 in recognition of Remembrance Day.
All outpatient diagnostic tests will not be available on Friday, November 11, 2022. These departments will be staffed to meet the needs of inpatients and emergencies.
Ambulatory Care Services, Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, Pre-Surgical Screening Services, Diabetes Education Centre, the TIA and CAD Clinics, Pulmonary Function Lab, Outpatient Lab Services, Health Records and Patient Appointment Offices will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2022.
The Chatham-Kent Mental Health and Addictions Program Outpatient Department will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2022. The Rapid Access to Addiction Medicine clinic will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2022. For any immediate crisis, please call the crisis line at 1-866-299-7447 or visit your nearest Emergency Room.
Elston Pharmacy, located at the Chatham Site, will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2022.
The Oncology/Chemotherapy Department will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2022.
The Business Office and Cashier’s Office will be closed on Friday, November 11, 2022. Please note there are two bill changers in the building to accommodate change for coin.
Hemodialysis Care will be open on Friday, November 11, 2022.
The COVID-19 Assessment Centre, located at the 10 Grand Avenue plaza in Chatham will be open on Friday, November 11, 2022.
The Emergency Departments at the Chatham and Wallaceburg sites will remain open 24 hours daily.
