The Lorne Avenue and Elgin Street intersection in Wallaceburg is set to be closed for repairs on Thursday.
Crews will be making some roadway and watermain adjustments across Elgin Street, as part of the Lorne Avenue reconstruction project.
The road will be closed on Elgin Street, between Selkirk Street and University Avenue and Lorne Avenue between Elizabeth Street and Wall Street.
“All lanes closed at the intersection of Elgin Street and Lorne Avenue,” Municipal officials say.
“Local traffic will be permitted up to work zone. Emergency Services will not have access through the work zone.”
A detour route will be setup from Selkirk Street, to Elizabeth Street, to Lisgar Street, to Elgin Street, to University Street and Wall Street.
The closure will be in effect on Thursday, November 17, 2022 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
