Firefighters responded to a blaze in Chatham early this morning, November 21, 2022.
“Stations #1 and #2 – Chatham responded to reports of a dumpster fire on Richmond Street around 3:30 this morning,” fire officials say.
“When they arrived on scene the fire had breached the soffit and fascia of City Electrical Supply (CES). Crews had to open up the roof to stop the continued spread.”
Fire officials say $100,000 in damages was caused to the building, while $1.5-million was saved.
There were no injuries reported, fire officials added.
The cause of the fire is undetermined.
