Update: $6,000 reward offered for info leading to arrest of murder suspect

The Windsor Police Services Board and Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $6,000 for information leading to the arrest of 26-year-old Malique Calloo.

“Any knowledge of his whereabouts call Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 or submit a tip online at http://catchcrooks.com 24/7,” Windsor Police officials tweeted on Monday.

“By using Crime Stoppers you remain anonymous.”

Windsor Police Service said on the weekend they believe Calloo, who is wanted for murder, may be hiding out in one of several Ontario cities to avoid capture.

Windsor Police say Calloo is wanted for the first-degree murder of Daniel Squalls, who was shot in the 800 block of Hanna Street East on November 28, 2022.

Investigators with the Major Crimes Unit have received credible information that Calloo might be holed up with friends or family in any of the following cities:

– Chatham

– Sarnia

– London

– Hamilton

– Niagara Region

– Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, York, Peel, Durham, Halton)

“We strongly urge anyone in these cities with any information about Malique Calloo to come forward and help us provide closure and justice for the victim’s family,” said Staff Sergeant Joe Faddoul of the Major Crimes Unit, in a media release.

Calloo is a black male with short black hair and brown eyes.

He is 6’3” feet tall and weighs 245 lbs.

He should be considered armed and dangerous.
