We’re back!
SWOMP has relaunched and is ready to have fun and rock once again, and what better day to do it than on the birthday of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley?
Today, on January 8th, Elvis would have turned 88 years old, and we can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by re-lighting the SWOMP flame.
We have fond memories of covering legendary international acts like Tom Petty, Willie Nelson, ZZ Top, Backstreet Boys, Journey, Weezer, Kings of Leon, and Kesha, as well as Canadian favorites like The Trews, Sloan, Tegan and Sara, The Sheepdogs, and Big Wreck.
We’re excited to be bringing you concert information, festival news, and event coverage that you’ve been craving.
In addition to covering the music, we’ll also be showcasing our rich arts and culture scenes, interviewing your favorite bands, giving away tickets to the hottest shows, and holding contests that you won’t want to miss.
To kick things off, SWOMP will be powering the entertainment section of the Sydenham Current.
