OPP officials allege: On January 8, 2023, at approximately 3:33 p.m., officers with the Chatham Detachment responded to a single vehicle Motor Vehicle Collision on the Highway 401, Municipality of Chatham-Kent near Kent Bridge Road.
A passenger vehicle collided with the wire guardrail and crossed the centre median coming to rest on the opposite side of the Highway 401.
The vehicle was occupied by three individuals.
One occupant was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Highway was closed temporarily to allow for investigation.
As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old of Pembroke, Ontario was charged with Careless Driving.
