CKHA adds new physician

Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (CKHA) has announced the addition of a new physician.

Dr. Ahmed Almradi joins the Internal Medicine Department as a specialized physician in Internal Medicine, with a subspecialty in Gastroenterology.

“We are delighted to welcome Dr. Ahmed Almradi to our clinical team and the community of Chatham-Kent,” said Dr. Pervez Faruqi, Chief of Staff, CKHA, in a media release.

“His contributions to our services will be a great addition to CKHA and help us further our commitment to delivering Patient and Family Centered Care.”

Hospital officials say Dr. Almradi completed an advance clinical Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Fellowship from Western University & University Hospital in London, Ontario, in 2020.

Dr. Almradi started his career at the James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre in Gander NL, where he worked for two years as a Gastroenterologist Consultant and site lead for the Internal Medicine Department.

In 2022, Dr. Almradi and his family moved to Chatham to continue his career at CKHA.

Dr. Almradi is currently accepting referrals.

His scope of practice includes general gastroenterology, IBD, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and colonoscopy, and liver disease.

Contact your primary care provider for a referral, CKHA officials added.
