Layton Bigjohn

Layton Willis Bigjohn, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away peacefully at Chatham-Kent Hospice on January 17, 2023 at the age of 33.

Layton is the beloved son of Carol White and Willis Bigjohn.

Layton will be dearly missed by his best friend Kara and the three beautiful children they share together; Peyton, Landrew and Klay and he is now reunited with baby Bigjohn.

Loved brother of Lyle, Loyell, Lynell, Ashley, Willis, Adam and Thomas.

Uncle of Lyla, Ava, Lynell Jr., Linai, Isabella and Ian.

He will be missed by his many aunties and uncles.

Layton loved his family time, was a hard worker and Chicago Bears and Bulls fan and a self-taught guitar player.

Family visiting will be from 2-4 PM with community visiting from 6-8 PM on Thursday at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg.

The funeral will be held at the Walpole Island United Church on Friday, January 20 at 1 PM.

Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
