Man arrested for bail violations
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 1:56 p.m., police responded to Canada Post on Wellington Street in Wallaceburg for an unwanted person.
Police arrived and located the man a short distance away.
Police confirmed he was on numerous release orders with a condition not to attend that address.
The man was arrested.
48-year-old Walpole Island man was arrested and held pending a bail hearing.
Man arrested for being intoxicated in a public place
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 8:45 p.m., police responded to King Street West in Chatham for a well-being check on a man observed lying on the ground.
Police attended and found the man extremely intoxicated and unable to care for himself.
The 43-year-old Chatham man was arrested and transported to police headquarters.
He was held under sober.
