Walk Off The Earth and Harm & Ease playing Caesars Windsor on May 12

Multi-platinum Canadian indie pop band Walk off the Earth returns to The Colosseum stage with special guest Harm & Ease on Friday, May 12 at 8 p.m.

Walk off the Earth is an unconventional, multi-talented musical phenomenon celebrated for innovative covers and catchy originals.

The group went viral over 11 years ago thanks to the brilliant five-people-playing-one-guitar interpretation of Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used To Know.”

The video garnered 19 million views in its first week online and has since amassed 190 million views.

Over the years, the band has headlined Red Rock Amphitheater and Wembley Arena, sold out the historic Sydney Opera House, notched a Top Ten single in Canada for 30 straight weeks, collaborated with Snoop Dogg, Steve Aoki, and Keith Urban, and made it to the top of the Pop Album Chart in the United States.

Since the group’s inception, WOTE has pushed the boundaries of what artists can and can’t do.

Their YouTube covers have won them Streamy awards, their rendition of the national anthem has been performed at the IIHF World Juniors and the NBA Finals, and they have made multiple appearances on The Ellen Degeneres Show and Good Morning America.

The band’s original songs have earned numerous high-profile accolades, including “Red Hands” going Number One at AAA radio while “Rule The World,” “Fire In My Soul,” and “I’ll Be There” have all achieved multi-platinum certification.

In 2019, the band released their seventh studio album HERE WE GO! which debuted atop the US Pop Album Chart.

2021 saw the release of their eighth record, supported by the single “Love You Right.”

Most recently, the WOTE released the catchy single “My Stupid Heart.”

Nominated for Breakthrough Group of the Year at the 2023 JUNO Awards, Harm & Ease is a rock and roll band made up of Rylan Whalen, Danny Lopez, John Goodblood, and Alex Hamnett.

After several reiterations, the lineup formed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where the group recorded and released their first two albums Wonderful Changes and Black Magic Gold.

The band found themselves reaching an international following as they took over the South American rock scene.

Eventually relocating to Toronto, Canada, connections formed with world-renowned talents like Walk off the Earth, allowing the recording process to begin on their first Canadian recorded album Midnight Crisis.

Harm & Ease channels the rock and roll giants of the 60s and 70s and passes it through their modern filter, creating a sound that comes across as fresh yet familiar and steeped in the roots of classical music and songwriting.

Tickets go on sale at 10am EST on Friday, February 10.

Ticket purchases can be made through caesarswindsor.com or ticketmaster.ca.

The Box Office is open Saturday & Sunday from Noon to 8pm and on Show Days from Noon to 10pm.
