Police: B&E’s under investigation in Chatham, warrant arrest

Break and enter investigation

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Police are currently investigating a Break and Enter on Valley Road in Chatham.

A male party was observed around 7:52 a.m. on February 17, 2023 breaking into a garage on Valley Road.

The suspect was scared off, however stole a table saw and sawhorses.

Break and enter investigation

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Police are currently investigating a Break and Enter at 8 Richmond Street in Chatham.

Sometime over the last week, unknown suspects entered a vacant apartment at this address.

Warrant arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On February 18, 2023 at approximately 9:30 p.m., police on general patrol located a female party who was the subject of an arrest warrant for failing to comply with her release order.

A 28-year-old Chatham woman was arrested on the strength of her warrant and held in custody for a bail hearing.
