The ‘Connect the Block’ event in Dresden has been rescheduled for March 1, 2023.
“Speak up! Get involved! Help neighbours work together to thrive,” organizers say.
“A neighbourhood’s greatest asset is the people who live there. The Connect the Block campaign is designed to promote community conversation about the strengths and challenges of living in the community. By sharing your ideas and discovering how to make those ideas come to life, you can help your neighbourhood thrive.”
Connect the Block will be visiting the area on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Dresden Area Central School.
Pizza and refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m., followed by a community conversaton from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Organizers say childminding will be offered onsite for children aged 3+.
“You can make a difference. Connect the Block!” organizers added.
The event had been scheduled to take place this past week, but was cancelled due to the ice storm.
