Garden Delights: Planting Native Species
Date – March 9, 2023
Time – 7:00 pm
Location(s): In-person at the St. Clair Region Conservation Authority Administration Building (205 Millpond Crescent, Strathroy) – limited seating and Zoom.
One of the most common questions our stewardship and conservation services staff get is how landowners can include native species more on their properties. Come listen to a panel discussion from three experts on using native species in your gardens and why these species are important for our local environment. Panelists will include Mike Smith (ReLeaf CK), Larry Cornelis (Naturalist and Horticulturist), and Jessica Smeekens (Auxsable Forestry). This is a hybrid event and there is limited seating available for in-person participation. Please email Emily Millette at emillette@scrca.on.ca to register.
This event is supported through funding from the Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation, and Parks and the Government of Canada’s Department of Fisheries and Oceans.
