Man arrested for failing to attend court
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9 a.m., police located the man on Chatham Street South in Harwich Township.
The man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in relation to being charged with assaulting a police officer.
The 36-year-old Blenheim man was arrested and released with a future court date of May 1, 2023.
Man arrested on outstanding warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 12:47 p.m., police responded to Murray Street in Chatham for a disturbance.
The man was located, and police confirmed a warrant was outstanding for the man’s arrest.
On March 21, 2023, the man was identified through surveillance footage as entering a business on St. Clair Street in Chatham, removing merchandise from the shelves, and leaving the store without attempting to pay for the items.
The 33-year-old Chatham man was charged with theft and possessing stolen property.
He was arrested and released with a future court date of April 24, 2023.
Woman arrested for assault
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:51 p.m., the woman attended the Chatham-Kent Police Tilbury station and turned herself into the Police.
The woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in relation to a February 5, 2023, intimate partner violence investigation.
The 36-year-old Tilbury woman was arrested and released with a future court date of May 1, 2023.
Man arrested for breach of the peace
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 11:13 p.m., police responded to an address on Chatham Street South in Blenheim for a disturbance.
Upon arrival, Police located a man intoxicated and disruptive.
The 36-year-old Harwich Township man was arrested for breaching the peace and transported to police headquarters, where he was held until he was sober.
Woman arrested for theft
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On April 4, 2023, at 3:18 a.m., while on general patrol, police located the woman on McNaughton Avenue in Wallaceburg.
Police confirmed the woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant related to a theft investigation from November 4, 2019.
The 26-year-old Wallaceburg woman was arrested and charged with theft and possessing stolen property.
She was released with a future court date of May 1, 2023.
