Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday, officers conducted traffic enforcement on McNaughton Ave.

A total of FOUR Provincial Offence Notices were issued for speeding.

Warrant arrest

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday at approximately 9:30 a.m., a 57-year-old Chatham man, who was the subject of a warrant for Fail to Comply, was located and arrested.

He was later released from custody with a court date to answer to the charge.

Public intoxication

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: This morning at around 1:53 a.m. officers responded a disturbance call on King Street West.

A 27-year-old Chatham man was located, observed in an intoxicated state and unable to care for himself.

He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and lodged until sober.

The man was issued a Provincial Offence Notice for being intoxicated in a public place.
