Missing woman in Merlin

The Chatham-Kent Police are requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing woman.

Debra Parker, 69-years-old, was last seen in Merlin, Ontario yesterday April 23, 2023 at around 8 a.m., police allege.

“Debra is described as a Caucasian female, 5’4”, 165lbs, with grey hair and blue/green eyes,” police officials said in a media release at 3:32 a.m.

“Debra was last seen wearing white running shoes and not wearing a coat. Police have concerns for her well-being. Please contact Chatham-Kent Police immediately if you’ve seen Debra or now her whereabouts.”

People are being encouraged to call 519-352-1234 extension 9.

In a subsequent email at 7:28 a.m., police officials said they are still looking for Parker.

“There will be a police presence in the Merlin Area this morning,” police allege.

“The citizens in the Merlin area are asked to check their properties and out buildings. Also if any person is seen walking along side roads when travelling to work and seems out of place please contact the Chatham-Kent Police.”
